DC’s Legends of Tomorrow Star Brandon Routh will be returning to the role that first brought him to the DC universe.
According to Deadline, the upcoming CW Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover will feature more than one Man of Steel. According to the article, Tyler Hoechlin will return as Superman/Clark Kent for the five part crossover that will span Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and the upcoming Batwoman series.
Hoechlin originated the role for the Arrowverse, but he will not be alone as Superman in the crossover. Brandon Routh, who plays Ray Palmer/ The Atom on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will also play Superman/Clark Kent in the upcoming crossover. Routh played Superman in Bryan Singer’s 2006 Superman Returns.
The first three episodes of the crossover will air in December with the final two parts coming in December.
