The Rundown: Atticus goes after a dangerous Sip while the Council sends a new hunter to keep tabs on him.
After giving Atticus the mission to hunt down and kill the humans he turned, Stoker regrets his decision and brings in his son Dracula to take over the mission. A prospect that showcases the animosity between the two. At the same time, Atticus finds the lair of a dangerous Sip who is using the homeless and injured to feed himself while giving them drugs to steal their memories.
Unable to resist this particular vice, Atticus succumbs and it will take the ghost of Joey to keep him from giving in completely. While the memories of Joey keep him from going over, Dracula discovers that he is not the only hunter in the night.
The Story: Ward continues to craft a riveting and entertaining story that has some great character moments and layers of story to keep me intrigued. The family dynamics and side stories are just as compelling as the main story and both give great insight into who Atticus is as a character and the world that he comes from.
The Art: Reynolds delivers some breathtaking visuals throughout the issue. The art is beautifully composed and the trippy elements of the story are brilliantly designed on the page.
