The Rundown: Atticus goes after another Sip who has a dangerous and destructive hobby.
Atticus’ mission to kill all of the humans he turned into vampires will get dangerous when he has to get behind the wheel to go after one who has a thing for causing accidents and killing anyone who comes to help him.
With the ghost of Joey egging him on, Atticus goes back to when the young man named Danny showed up on his radar and that’s when things get really interesting as the chase begins. A chase that will not only threaten Atticus’ mission, but will also challenge his ideas about humanity.
The Story: Ward ramps up the action in this issue with a story that has the pace of an action film. I like the immediacy of the plot and how it moves forward with each panel. The interplay between Atticus and Joey is fun and entertaining as well and I enjoyed how the story resolved itself as well as what it teased to come.
The Art: Reynolds delivers some impressive and beautifully detailed art throughout the issue. The visuals are lively and intense.
