The Rundown: Bloodline learns the bitter truth about her father while Sam Wilson tries to inspire the world.

Miles Morales has been turned and attacks the gathered heroes at the Sanctum before he is stopped and captured by Strange and Clea. At the same time, Blade prepares for the next part of his plan. A plan that will require something buried beneath Wakanda that only T’Challa can retrieve.

After helping Miles, Bloodline learns the truth about her father and his hand in this dark, vampire infested world. A truth she is not prepared to face. While Blade plans and his forces hunt his daughter, Carol and the Avengers decide that the world needs some inspiration and only Sam Wilson as Captain America can deliver it.

The Story: MacKay crafts a thrilling adventure in this issue. There isn’t a lot of action, but there is great tension and suspense throughout the issue as things build to some key and interesting moments for the characters. There are some great highlights throughout the issue especially with the reveals as well as Sam taking the reigns as the icon the world needs. There are some truly inspiring moments in the issue and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Larraz delivers stellar art throughout the issue. The visuals are thrilling, intense and emotionally compelling. A fantastic looking issue from start to finish.
