The Rundown: After a devastating attack, Ezra makes a choice that will change the future of his son forever.
After being attacked by Vlad, Ezra is left critically injured and discovers that his young son Wil is even worse off. After thinking of his late wife and the only connection to the world he still has through his son, Ezra makes a decision that will change their lives forever before he rushes out into the night looking for Vlad.
While one of the deputies finds the body of the Sheriff and sees something strange in the forest, Ezra discovers where Vlad is hiding and decides to have their final confrontation.
The Story: Kudranski masterfully builds suspense throughout this issue. The story has been building on every character element and emotion and this issue brilliantly showcases the tragedy of Ezra’s story through the dialogue and his thoughts on his son. I continue to be engrossed in the world of its story and its characters and want to see more from both.
The Art: Kudranski delivers beautifully detailed and visually stunning art throughout the issue.
