The Rundown: Ezra fights for his life against an old foe.
The sheriff continues out to the remote location Ezra lives in. At the same time, Ezra finds himself fighting Vlad to protect his son from the creature. As Vlad continues to try to force him to embrace the darkness within him, Ezra continues to fight back.
When his son attempts to help him, he finds himself being the next target. At the same time, the sheriff discovers something dark in the woods and Ezra makes a desperate decision.
The Story: Kudranski continues to create great drama and dark thrills in this series. This issue has some fantastic dark moments throughout and great tension that draws me in to every moment with the characters. The issue takes a really dark turn that makes me excited to see what happens next for Ezra and his son.
The Art: Kudranski’s art is sublime. It perfectly captures every dark moment and every suspense filled interaction with the characters.
