The Rundown: Ezra’s peaceful life comes to an end when an old foe finds him and his son.
The local sheriff is looking for a missing person. Someone who will definitely be missed in the small town. When he finds a dismembered animal in the forest, the missing persons case takes on more meaning. At the same time, the man himself has betrayed Ezra and pays the price for it.
At the house, Ezra knows someone in coming and prepares himself for the encounter while revealing some of his past to his young son. A revelation that will reveal more mystery when the monster stalking them arrives at the house.
The Story: Kudranski continues to deliver impressive, engaging and entertaining stories and this issue is a fantastic follow up to the first issue. The story has some amazing suspense throughout and I love how the progression of the danger in the plot connects with the reader. There is a lot going on and you feel a part of every moment and character in a way that crafts a compelling world I want to explore.
The Art: Kudranski delivers fantastic art on every page of this issue. Each panel and page engages the reader and captures the dark, ominous mood of the story.
