The Rundown: The Agents of Wakanda face one of the most powerful entities in the universe as well as battling their darkest fears.
Separated from the rest of the team, Okoye is confronted by her fears in the form of T’Challa. At the same time, Janet wakes up at Tony’s apartment and finds him working in his lab. When it turns out to be Hank, she has to fight both the men in her life in order to escape.
Fat Cobra confronts Sentry about his latest attempt to find peace and the destruction it is causing. When the sometime hero/ sometime villain lashes out at Black Panther and his team, the king of Wakanda has to call in the heavy artillery to break Sentry from the hold of the forces controlling him.
The Story: Jim Zub is creating a compelling and interesting team in this title. Taking these characters and having them tackle threats that fly below the radar is a great choice both from a plot and character focus. Each of these characters is interesting and having their stories broadened in context with a new team gives readers a new appreciation for them. I like having Sentry as the antagonist in this story and that his threat continues after the initial confrontation ends. I really want to see where Zub takes this story and this team next.
The Art: Lan Medina’s art is amazing. Everything from the characters to the detailed backgrounds are thrilling to look at. Really love the action throughout.
