Deron GenerallyCharlie Brooker’s dystopian series in the spiritual vein of classics like The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits will return for a new season on Netflix.
According to Deadline and Variety, a sixth season has been confirmed by the streaming service and will more than likely follow the same structure as the previous season with three, feature length installments.
Black Mirror tells a series of stories that deal with humanity, identity and other issues. It has previously featured an all star cast including Jon Hamm, Bryce Dallas Howard, Hayley Atwell, Daniel Kaluuya, Miley Cyrus, Jesse Plemons, Anthony Mackie, Rafe Spall, Ludi Lin, Jodie Whitaker and others.
No news yet on when the series will go into production or who will star, but Brooker’s unique vision and storytelling is sure to attract some familiar faces.
