The Rundown: The Birds find themselves in a prehistoric nightmare.
Dinah and the rest of the team find themselves emerging in a world filled with hungry dinosaurs on the rampage. As the Birds fight their way through the creatures, they find a cave to hide in while Vixen continues to deal with the loss of her powers and Sin hides information from Dinah.
At the same time, Barbara looks for a way to escape and rejoin the team while Constantine attempts to find a way to bring the team back from the portal.
The Story: Thompson continues to craft a fun, engaging and entertaining story in this issue. I continue to enjoy the emotional ride this story is taking the characters as well as seeing Dinah step up as a leader. The premise of this arc continues to be interesting as well as the team dynamics. Both the team’s search for Barbara and Barbara’s story itself continue to be compelling and I look forward to seeing how Thompson moves this story forward.
The Art: All three artists deliver fantastic art throughout the issue. All of the visual styles beautifully complement each other.
