The Rundown: Batman’s European adventure continues as he searches for the group responsible for a series of murders.
Batman uses an unorthodox method of obtaining information from a criminal. He then has an informative conversation with Squire regarding her background. Later, he visits an injured friend in a secret location. Finally, Batman contacts an associate with local ties before continuing his current investigation.
Meanwhile, Equilibrium receives an update from an ally. Afterwards, the group goes on a mission of vengeance. While confronting their next victim, they are interrupted by Batman. Soon, the group must make a deadly decision.
The Story: Taylor has crafted an exciting narrative that highlights Batman’s detective skills. I am enjoying seeing Batman fight crime in a different environment than Gotham City. As a wealthy business owner, it can be assumed that he has connections and property all over the world. And it will be interesting to see how he will incorporate those advantages in crime fighting.
The Art: Detailed drawings and bold, dark, color filled palates encompass this issue. The action scenes are very well done and interesting. I found myself completely engaged in the world of the story.
