Written by Joshua Williamson

Letters by John J Hill
The Rundown: Superman is undercover alongside the Batman Who Laughs and Batman will discover betrayal close to home.
The investigation into the Secret Six continues with Superman injected with Joker toxin breaking the Batman Who Laughs out of the secret prison beneath the Hall of Justice. As the two make their way to the armory to pick up some items, Batman watches from behind the scenes. When it becomes apparent that BWL knows that he’s being played, Batman has to move in quickly to pull Clark out of the fire before its too late.
With one avenue of investigation closed to them, Bruce will discover another one of the infected is someone close to him and he races to Gotham to confront a rampaging Commissioner Gordon and his old Batman suit. When they take the suit to the Fortress to investigate it, a new threat emerges in the form of another member of the Secret Six.
The Story: The pace of this issue is fast paced and the rapidity of it is a hindrance to the story. Joshua Williamson does a great job with the story itself, but there are so many parts of it that I expected more from because they all serve as great set up moments. The Superman reveal was too fast. I could have served the story better by increasing the tension and pushing Clark to his limits before bringing in Batman to pull him back from the brink.
The Art: Marquez delivers some beautiful visuals in this issue. The sequence with Batman versus Gordon was fantastic and the reveal at the end of the issue looks spectacular.
