The Rundown: When mythical creatures attack Gotham, Batman and his allies get some unexpected help.

It’s Christmas time in Gotham City and Batman finds himself investigating the murder of carolers. Murders that have a supernatural element that forces him to call in help from Zatanna. When it is revealed that the killers are mythical vampire-like creatures, an unexpected attack will reveal an ally of Batman that has come to the rescue; Santa Claus.

After another attack is reported with Nightwing and Batgirl on the scene, Batman and the others arrive to discover not only who is behind the attacks, but his connection to Santa.

The Story: An entertaining, fun and often thrilling adventure from Parker. The story has some great action throughout as well as an awesome entrance for Santa. The character himself is interesting in how he is portrayed and both his relationship with Batman but also the reaction from Robin and the others. I like how this story doesn’t shy away from what it is, a Christmas adventure, and I look forward to seeing what happens next.

The Art: Bandini delivers not only some thrilling action visually, but the character designs are fantastic.
