The Rundown: Red Hood teams with the Outsiders to retrieve some dangerous information.
With Batman gone, Jason Todd decides to break into the batcave in order to retrieve something. He finds himself being surprised by Black Lightening and Katana who enlist him to help them recover a data cache that includes information that Batman has gathered for years.
After discovering that the cache is being auctioned off, Red Hood infiltrates the proceedings with the Outsiders providing backup. What they don’t know is that Jason has another motive for begin there, revenge against Bane. As the team goes looking for the cache and try to curb Jason’s desire for revenge, an interested third party moves in to take possession of a lifetime of secrets.
The Story: An entertaining and exciting story from Diggle with great characters and a twist that is fun and unexpected. Both Jason Todd and the Outsiders are used extremely well in this plot and their conflict with each other enhances the tension of the story as well as its stakes. I enjoyed the progression of the story and really liked the twist at the end and what it might mean going forward.
The Art: Great visuals across every page and panel of this issue. Mostert not only creates great visual character moments, but also awesome action.
