The Rundown: Bruce hunts for answers and forms an interesting new partnership in the process.
Bruce’s investigation into Derek Powers will force him to rely more on the Jack Napier persona that has become part of his psyche. After getting information about Powers and his relationship with Warren McGinnis, Bruce infiltrates the building and gets more information about Warren’s murder and the project he and Powers were working on that got him killed.
Unfortunately, Jackie interrupts Bruce’s mission and both he and Jack tell the young woman the truth about her father and what happened to him. After being discovered, Bruce is confronted by Terri and Powers and when the truth is revealed, things get explosive. An explosion will create an even more dangerous threat to Bruce and Gotham.
The Story: Murphy delivers an action packed, engaging and entertaining story in this issue. The dynamic between Bruce and Jack continues to be entertaining and the complications of their relationship with Jackie and Harley continue to keep me engaged as a reader. The story takes some gripping turns throughout as well as some awesome action beats that make me excited for the next issue.
The Art: Murphy delivers some beautifully detailed and exciting art throughout the issue. The art perfectly captures the mood of the story and immerses the reader in great action and drama along with some awesome visual Easter eggs.
