The Rundown: Both Batman and Robin find themselves being sought out by strange allies.

The cult of Man-Bat continues to grow throughout the city and Shush is frustrated that Langstrom is forgetting their bigger plan in the midst of his growing following. At the same time, Flatline’s unexpected visit to Gotham reveals a mission that she and Robin undertake that will separate the duo.

As Robin and Flatline locate someone close to Nika, a dark secret is revealed. When Batman discovers a member of the cult and tries to take him down, the measures he takes to protect Langstrom will reveal a possible dark ally that needs the Dark Knight’s help.

The Story: Williamson continues to create a fun and interesting adventure for Batman and Robin in this series. This arc has some entertaining moments, but having Damian’s romantic interest pop up was a great touch that showcases the great growing interactions between Damian and Bruce. The story has some great action and the Man-Bat storyline continues to be fun.

The Art: Di Meo delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals are fun and vibrant with a wonderful flow that captures the eye.

I only read this for the artwork.( Di Meo’s art on We Only Find Them When They’re Dead is next level) The story is middling to me….
