The Rundown: Batman and Robin investigate a student at Damian’s school with a twisted obsession.

Batman and Robin continue their investigation into Damian’s classmate and his unhealthy obsession with Victor Zsasz. After breaking down his routine, they discover that he has not come to school the day Zsasz is set to be delivered to court for an appeal. With security everywhere, Batman and Robin find themselves under attack as the highly skilled young man attempts to break out the serial killer.

In the aftermath, Damian’s suspicions of his school’s principal get stronger, Bruce and Damian continue to bond as father and son and the dynamic duo receive a visit from an old friend of Damian’s.

The Story: Williamson does a fantastic job of continuing to create interesting stories for Bruce and Damian. Not being a fan of Damian myself, I have found an appreciation for the character through the dynamic with Bruce in this series. I like the thrilling elements of the story and how they are as compelling as the father/son bonding moments that come towards the end of the issue.

The Art: Nikola Cizmesija delivers some beautifully stylish and visually engaging art throughout the issue and the colors from Rex Lokus transport me into the story with every page and panel.
