The Rundown: The new leader of Batman Incorporated takes his team on its first mission.
The members of Batman Incorporated have been summoned to a meeting at a secret location. One that will reveal someone they have all had recent dealings with, Ghost-Maker. To make matters worse, Batman names Ghost-Maker the new leader of Batman Incorporated. A title that will cause some problems when he separates the group based on skill.
Their first mission with their new leader will bring the team to a small village that has been taken over by a vigilante. One who not only is extremely powerful, but is hiding a secret that changes everything about their mission.
The Story: Brisson crafts a great introduction to the new Batman Incorporated. One that showcases the style of leadership Ghost-maker will bring as well as character conflicts that will inform the story. The story has some great character conflicts within it and it will be interesting to see how those conflicts grow, evolve and effect the narrative. I look forward to finding out.
The Art: Timms delivers some awesome art on every page of the issue. The action is visually thrilling and the characters look great both in action and with each other.
