The Rundown: Batman’s hunt for Scarecrow will uncover a bigger conspiracy and Ghost-Maker’s adventures continue.

After his time with the Unsanity Collective, Batman thinks over the words of Miracle Molly. After getting back in contact with Oracle, he tells her that he needs Ghost-Maker’s helps for the next part of his plan. A plan that will require him to infiltrate Saint Industries. As Harley and Ghost-Maker learn more about each other, Harley’s search for Ivy takes an unexpected turn. Batman confronts Saint, but is too late to stop his plan for the city from starting. A plan that will put Batman face to face with Peacekeeper-01.
Ghost-Maker’s adventure takes him into the tunnels beneath the island as Madame Midas believes she has the vigilante exactly where she wants him. A belief that is challenged by the people she has invited to the island to learn from. The latest person to challenge her assertions about Ghost-Maker is one who dealt with him directly and knows the cost of not taking him seriously.
The Story: The main story continues to be interesting and entertaining both in its suspense and character development. I am impressed with the stakes that are being raised in this issue as well and the dialogue is fantastic. There are moments of introspection that I like seeing explored. I like the Ghost-Maker/Harley dynamic because is feels new and refreshing. I also really enjoy the Ghost-Maker back story because it helps to establish the legend of the character while being thrilling and fun.
The Art: Jorge Jimenez delivers some beautiful visuals throughout the issue. The character moments are beautifully detailed and the action is eye catching. Ortiz has a unique and interesting visual style in the Ghost-Maker story.
