The Rundown: Hannah prepares for her confrontation with Vanessa, but it might not be the finale either expected.
In her recent past, Hannah deals with the aftermath of losing everything and as she leaves the hospital, she is determined to make the people who took her world from her pay. Back in the present, an injured Hannah finds herself barely able to walk as Reagan helps her to escape the area. After finding a place to hide, Reagan gets a message from Vanessa who tells her that she wants them to come for her and she already has a place picked out for their final showdown.
Reagan warns Hannah that she is running into a trap, but the woman’s need for revenge is too strong. In the aftermath of Hannah’s attack, Vanessa will discover that she has been betrayed by her faithful. She then takes to the hills to find a way to escape and discovers something unexpected that could change her destiny.
The Story: Bunn delivers some awesome thrills in this issue. The plot continues to be engaging and dark with great action and adventure elements. The flashbacks do a wonderful job of showcasing the evolution of Hannah as a character and the dynamic between her and Reagan continues to be intriguing as well. The story takes some great twists throughout and the surprises make me excited for what comes next.
The Art: Scharf delivers some impressive and beautifully detailed images in this story. The characters look great and the action is visually thrilling throughout.
