The Rundown: While the mutants and the Avengers rush to stop the destruction of Krakoa, a small group of Eternals work to find a solution.
The Hex begin their attack on Krakoa and the X-Men along with any available mutants that can fight defend the island while others attempt to protect non-combatants and the children. The Avengers arrive and help out while public opinion about the mutants continue to turn negative. At the same time, Tony Stark works with Ajax and Sinister to create a new god for the Eternals in hopes of ending the conflict.
As the mutants fight harder, the destruction forces the Avengers to leave in order to help the countries about to be hit with typhoons and tidal waves. When Stark and the Eternals continue the creation of their new god, it comes online with a message that just might make a bad situation even worse.
The Story: Gillen crafts a story that is thrilling from start to finish. The conflict is really interesting from both a character and world standpoint. The story has a wonderful pacing with awesome drama that makes you care about the characters in the story. Everything comes together to an amazing and shocking ending that makes me excited for what comes next.
The Art: Schiti delivers some blistering visuals throughout the issue. The art is bright, detailed and exciting throughout.
