Leave it to Marvel Studios to constantly surprise fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe with exciting news.
According to multiple sources, including i09 and The Hollywood Reporter, Avengers: Infinity War is moving its release date up from May 4th to April 27th. Normally, the first weekend in May is the start of the summer blockbuster season, but it looks like Disney and Marvel Studios wants to move up the date and take advantage of the positive momentum they’ve experienced from both the February release of Marvel’s Black Panther and the increased anticipation of Infinity War by Marvel movie fans.
Iron Man, Thor, the Hulk and the rest of the Avengers unite to battle their most powerful enemy yet — the evil Thanos. On a mission to collect all six Infinity Stones, Thanos plans to use the artifacts to inflict his twisted will on reality. The fate of the planet and existence itself has never been more uncertain as everything the Avengers have fought for has led up to this moment.
