Disney’s next immersive attraction opens this summer in California.
According to Disney Parks and Marvel Entertainment, guests can train alongside their favorite Avenger this summer when Avengers Campus opens at Disney’s California Adventure this July.
According to Marvel.com, “The all-new, immersive land invites guests visiting Disney California Adventure Park at the Disneyland Resort to find the hero within themselves — whether it’s slinging webs like Spider-Man, training with Okoye and the Dora Milaje, or witnessing some of your favorite Super Heroes hold off their foes.”
The attraction will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: Breakout! and will feature a new family-friendly attraction called WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure. Teaming up with Spider-Man, guests will assist in capturing a bunch of out-of-control Spider-Bots that are wreaking havoc across the Campus. During the mission, guests will sling webs like Spider-Man and experience what it’s like to have superpowers…and keep Peter out of trouble with Mr. Stark.
Superheroes get hungry saving the universe and Avengers Campus is ready to provide heroes and guests alike with restaurant offerings like the Pym Test Kitchen. John State, Culinary Director at the Disneyland Resort says of the restaurant, “Just imagine the guests walking through, pulling the handle of that door, walking into a laboratory, becoming part of the experience of Pym Technology.” According to Disney, the test kitchen will feature food growing and shrinking before your eyes.
There will also be mutltiple chances to meet and interact with your favorite heroes including Black Widow, Ant-Man and The Wasp, Captain Marvel, Captain America, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, and Thor. You also never know when Loki might pop up to cause mischief.
Avengers Campus opens July 18th at Disneyland.
