The Rundown: Jane Foster awakens in a paradise, but finds out quickly how much of a nightmare it actually is.

A strange dream awakens Jane Foster and she can’t remember where or who she is. That is until she sees the smile of her husband Thor. She remembers that she is married to Thor and building a life on Asgard as he flies off to defend the universe. A life she enjoys. Or does she?

When the temptation of her dreams and her thoughts that there is more to her life persist in her mind, she confronts her husband and discovers the lie that she has been living. A lie that will unmask something much darker with the help of an unlikely ally.

The Story: Jason Aaron draws in the reader by dropping them right into the story with the understanding that something is very wrong. Showing Jane fighting against the supposed paradise that she lives in is a great emotional arc that leads to some even better revelations with the return of a familiar face and Jane’s own realization at the end. A great story that has some interesting emotional stakes.

The Art: Garron delivers some beautifully detailed art on every page of the issue. The action is fantastic and the bright, inviting style of the art is visually engaging.
