The Rundown: Jenny and Joe continue their investigation into her missing sister and find more dangers along the way.
Jenny and Joe fight for their lives in the basement of an abandoned home against dangerous dust monsters. After fighting their way out, they regroup to discuss the case and the device they found before their escape. A device that lets them see into dangerous worlds.
Knowing that they have another lead, Jenny and Joe decide to infiltrate a party where she discovers the host, who she met before, has made a dramatic change. After infiltrating the man’s home, they discover more devices before they are discovered and transported back in time to a prehistoric nightmare.
The Story: Bunn crafts a wonderfully delightful and thrilling adventure in this issue. Things are heating up for the characters and the mystery continues to be compelling and engaging. I love the characters a lot and there are some great dialogue moments between them. The story has some great action and scares that make me excited to see what happens next.
The Art: Mutti delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. The visuals are wonderfully detailed and convey the emotion and terror of several moments in the story.
