The Rundown: Kai and his new allies are forced to find a missing colony with the key to a dangerous secret.
On Zynitec Prime, the leader assures the people that the production of Kronium will continue. She tells the General that his forces need to find and stop Kai when she discovers that they left a tracker on their ship.
Kai is able to unlock the information they received on their mission when Xander and his forces attack. As the rebels push to escape, the only place they can find is a remote location that holds a dark secret that could threaten the leader.
The Story: Snyder and Tieri continue to craft an intense, thrilling and entertaining story in this issue. I like the mixture of big action beats and political intrigue as well as how the mystery at the heart of this story continues to grow and evolve. This issue has some great character moments for Kai and I like the team of supporting characters within the story. It’s going to be interesting to see what happens when secrets are revealed and who those secrets actually affect.
The Art: Smallman delivers some visually fun and exciting art throughout the story. A great looking issue for its action and visual thrills.
