The Rundown: Jackson Hyde is on the run from Atlantean security forces.
In Atlantis, Mera has a confrontation with the Atleantean guards. Afterwards, she is able to contact an ally regarding Jackson’s situation. Meanwhile, Jackson uses an unusual method to avoid capture. However, he soon comes face to face with a deadly enemy. When help arrives, Jackson has a surprising revelation.
The Story: The third chapter in the series delivers a compelling and energetic narrative. The twists and turns in Jackson’s story are exciting and promising. The struggle between the different groups in Atlantis is reminiscent of today’s society. Especially in terms of prejudice and oppression. I am interested in seeing how this plotline develops and look forward to the next episode.
The Art: The illustrations in this chapter use bold coloring to highlight extremely detailed drawings. Each panel is filled with interesting and eye-catching scenes. This issue is heavy on intense action scenes, and I found the energy of the overall story to be perfectly captured within the pages.
