According to The Hollywood Reporter, Academy Award winning actor Angelina Jolie has entered into talks to join the next film in the MCU, The Eternals.
The Eternals is based on the Jack Kirby series that revolves around the cosmic Eternals. The Eternals are near-immortal, superpowered beings who are in conflict with the monstrous Deviants. Matthew and Ryan Firpo are currently writing the screenplay which will be directed by Chloe Zhao.
Jolie is no stranger to comic book movies after starring in the 2007 action thriller Wanted based on the comic by Mark Millar. She can next be seen in the Disney sequel Maleficent: Mistress of Evil coming spring of 2020.
