The Rundown: Skinner and company need to beat a hasty retreat and an ancient evil emerges.

A mysterious package is delivered that might be the key to helping Felicia find her lost son. At the same time, Skinner and his team are trapped underground with a group of creatures bearing down on them. When his brother and Dolly are injured by the only thing that can hurt a vampire, Skinner surprises everyone with a weapon he has for just this occasion. A weapon that will give them enough time to beat a hasty and explosive retreat with the item they came for.

In the tunnels underneath New York City, Poole and Travis are on the hunt for dangerous prey, Dracula himself. Tracking him to an old VMS base, the pair find themselves at the mercy of the creature and in the presence of someone that could be a lot more dangerous.

The Story: Scott Snyder brings action and adventure to this issue. The characters have great dialogue and interactions with each other and the story has a great pace and build up. The differing and converging storylines never feel lost and each one adds a new mystery that the reader will be interested in exploring. I really enjoyed where the characters end up at the end of the issue and I cannot wait to read on after the surprising and well done cliffhanger.

The Art: Albuquerque does some brilliant work with the art in this issue. There is so much great imagery throughout that it is hard to decide on what scenes look better because everything looks so good.
