AMC is gearing up to produce an adaptation of Joe Hill’s horror novel NOS4A2 into a series from Fear the Walking Dead and Hell on Wheels writer/producer Jami O’Brien and the network has announced the leads for the supernatural horror series.
According to Deadline, Zachary Quinto and Ashleigh Cummings have been cast in the two lead roles. NOS4A2 tells the story of artist Vic McQueen, a woman with a very interesting gift. Vic has the ability to track and find any item. An ability she’s had since childhood and one that brings her into the world of Charlie Manx. Manx is a seemingly immortal creature that feeds off the souls of children he’s abducted and taken to a world of his creation called Christmasland. Vic must find a way to stop Manx and free the children he’s taken before they are trapped in Christmasland forever.
Ashleigh Cummings has landed the role of Vic McQueen. Cummings hails from Australia and is known for her roles in series like Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries as well as Westside.
Zachary Quinto will be playing Charlie Manx in the series. Quinto has played on screen villains before as Syler in the NBC series Heroes as well as the evil Dr. Oliver Thredson in American Horror Story: Asylum. He is also known for playing Commander Spock in the rebooted Star Trek movie series.
Hill and O’Brien will executive produce NOS4A2 along with Lauren Corrao, Co-President of Tornante Television.
