Nubia is captured and discovers not only who has created the dark sanctuary for the Amazons, but why. After learning the truth about their enemy, Nubia and the others fight for an opportunity to escape and stop her from completing her plan to unleash the full fury of man’s violence on the Amazons.
As Asylum plans to turn the world against all Amazons, Nubia and the others fight to stop her along with her influence on a trusted friend.
The Story: Campbell brings this story to a thrilling conclusion. There is great action throughout the story and I really enjoyed how the main villain’s motives are revealed and why they make her so dangerous to the Amazons. The story has some great inspirational moments as well as tension that reveals that the fight isn’t over for the Amazons.
The Art: Georgiev delivers some fantastic art throughout the issue. The visuals perfectly capture the tension and suspense of the story.
