The Rundown: Spider-Man and Teresa find out Silver Sable is hiding a devastating secret and Chameleon goes after a new target.
Silver Sable gets the drop on Spider-Man as he takes on The Foreigner. When Teresa intervenes, Silver Sable’s biggest secret is revealed. Her secret exposes her country to threats both foreign and domestic so she has a vested interest in recovering the Infinity Formula to try and heal herself.
At the same time, Miguel is finding his presence in the present to be more difficult than he imagined as his mission to save his time will find him on the run from Roxxon with his memories still spotty.
The Story: Nick Spencer adds some new and exciting details to this story. The pace and tone of the story are great. The character interactions are well done and I really enjoyed how both stories unfold in the issue. Miguel’s story needs to be more detailed, but there is an interesting balance between both stories and the new wrinkle with Chameleon at the UN and his attacks on Latveria are adding story elements that I want to see explored.
The Art: Patrick Gleason’s art is amazing. The tone of his art perfectly matches the more serious tone of this part of the story.
