The Rundown: Cruz continues his hunt for his missing son as the xenomorph threat continues to grow on the station.

Cruz, Hamilton and Bishop find themselves heading to the Alien nest as Cruz holds out hope that his son might still be alive. As they make their way through the facility, they discover why Bishop has been able to stay online. After moving deeper into the nest, Cruz discovers something deeply and personally disturbing.

With only moments left before they are overrun by aliens, Cruz is forced to make a decision about his mission. When Iris returns, Cruz finds that his plans have changed and his discovery might be the only thing that saves both his son and himself. With time running out, Cruz and the others work to escape, but the appearance of the Alpha puts their escape in danger.

The Story: The stakes continue to get higher in this fast paced, action filled issue. Phillip Kennedy Johnson keeps the characters moving with crisp dialogue and a plot that gives the reader more insight into who Gabriel Cruz is as a person. There are some disturbing moments throughout and a somber personal moment that is extremely well crafted and executed. The introduction of the Alpha is a great moment and its presence adds even more darkness to the plot.

The Art: Larroca delivers some beautifully detailed and action filled art. The panels are filled with tension and terror and I love the aesthetic of the entire series so far.
