The Rundown: Mutants, Avengers and Eternals battle to stop judgment day, but hidden agendas and secrets could make things worse.
The Avengers and Eternals who created the newest Celestial immediately regret their decision as it announces that it is going to judge everyone on the planet before making its final judgment on humanity itself. It starts with Steve Rogers and the results are surprising.
As Druig restarts his attack on the mutants, the Quiet Council dispatches a team of X-Men to infiltrate the Celestial when a possible weakness is found. The result is something not only completely unexpected, but could possibly make things worse. At the same time, Sersei decides to free the only Eternal that could possibly end the conflict once and for all.
The Story: A consistently engaging and entertaining story filled with incredible action and surprises. This entire series is a great utilization of these characters, their skills and personalities. All of the internal conflicts are interesting and the bigger threat continues to be intriguing to the reader. I am genuinely excited about this story and where it is going.
The Art: Schiti delivers some powerful and beautifully detailed pages and panels throughout the issue. The sequence towards the end of the issue if brilliantly done and emotional.
