The Rundown: The heroes inside the Celestial continue the fight as two of the Eternals deal with a different struggle.
The small group of heroes within the Celestial continue to make their way to their goal. As the danger increases, Iron Man confronts Sersei about why she failed the test. As she thinks back to the reality of the secret behind Eternal immortality, she chooses to keep it from the people she is fighting with.
As they get closer, Ajak finds herself being challenged by the Celestial. A challenge that will question not only her faith, but what that faith means. A challenge that will bring Ajak face to face with the ghosts of her past and what she did to protect her gods.
The Story: Gillen delivers an interesting experience with this story. I love how it branches off into two different stories and how both of those stories connect to the Eternals’ connection with the Celestials. It’s an entertaining story that has some compelling moments throughout.
The Art: Perry delivers some great art throughout the issue and I love the visual aesthetic of both parts of the story.
