One of the best events in comics is coming to an end and many fans are wondering what will happen in the aftermath of Dark Nights: Metal. Well, DC Comics has announced a new storyline for the heroes of the DC universe and a new lineup for the Justice League.
The next huge thing from DC Comics will be a new story and new books for the Justice League. The series Justice League: No Justice wil feature a new story from award winning creator of Dark Nights: Metal Scott Snyder. No Justice will feature the Justice League going up against Brainiac. In the midst of the battle, Brainiac gets an ominous vision. One that spurs him to team up with the League to stop the coming threat.
The teams will consist of members of the Justice League partnered with other heroes and villains to stop the threat Brainiac forsees and explore the now larger DC Universe. Each team will be sent to a different planet for a specific mission and there is some great art depicting the teams themselves.
The first team will consist of Batman leading a team comprised of Lobo, Beast Boy, Lex Luthor and Deathstroke.
Flash will lead a team that will include Robin (Damian Wayne), Cyborg, Harley Quinn and The Atom.
Superman’s team will consist of Starfire, Martian Manhunter, Sinestro and Starro.
Wonder Woman’s team will include Doctor Fate, Raven, Zatanna and Etrigan.
Scott Snyder will be taking on the central Justice League series while Joshua Williamson (The Flash) and James Tynion IV (Detective Comics) will launch new series that will be announced at a later date.
Justice League No Justice launches May 9th and will run weekly.
